    ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Juliette Zurstrassen, but you can call me Lulu—a nickname that has stuck with me since birth.

    Born and raised

in Brussels, Belgium, my heart has always been in Ibiza, Spain, where I spent much of my childhood and lived for a year when I was seven. Barefoot with not much clothes on, swimming and running on the beach, and soaking in the freedom of island life, is how I remember my childhood.

It was there, on the shores of Ibiza, that I first encountered the teachings of Buddhism, introduced to me by a beautiful soul who ran a small beach shop There I was, spending my days meditating on the beach surrounded by sarongs, or learning how to pronounce om mani padme hum with a mâlâ in my hand and embracing the peaceful energy of the island. It was paradise, and leaving it to return to the cold, grey days of Brussels was no easy feat. As a child, I was heavy with the melodrama of youth, feeling unfairly treated, even doomed. It didn’t occur to me then that this was my first lesson in impermanence. Later, I came to embrace that nothing lasts forever, as the Buddhist teaching reminds us: 'This too shall pass.' It's a simple yet profound understanding of the transient nature of all things.

Later, I pursued a degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management in Brussels, which led to my first job in Seychelles—a dream job on paper, but in reality, it was the most stressful, tiring, and underpaid job I’ve ever had (which, coming from the hospitality industry, says a lot). It was there that I was introduced to an old buddy of mine: Anxiety.

Seeking something more, I moved to Bali, where I reconnected with the spirituality I had first discovered in Ibiza. Bali taught me the beauty of solitude, of learning to be alone in a way that felt expansive rather than isolating. My daily routine became filled with the scent of incense, bike rides through rice fields, and a deepening connection to myself. Yet, despite the beauty of Bali, I longed to return to Europe—and naturally, I found myself back in Ibiza.

There, I co-opened my first businessan organic café serving mostly vegetarian, homemade dishes in the heart of the island. The café now thrives under the ownership and management of one of the waitresses we hired at the time, and it fills me with joy to see it continue to flourish. 🙂 @nudecafé

This is when I discovered yoga. I had always tried to stay active, dabbling in various sports, but none ever truly stuck—until I stumbled upon a four-week workout plan online that included some basic yoga movements. I was hooked. Beyond the physical benefits, yoga became my tool for managing anxiety, grounding me, and helping me release tension and negative energy. It created space for all the goodness I wanted to invite into my life.

Yoga has been my anchor ever since. I completed my yoga teacher training with Radiantly Alive in Bali and am now a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. Today, I’m deeply committed to sharing the transformative and healing power of yoga with others. Through my online sessions and retreats, my goal is to guide you on a journey toward inner peace, strength, and balance in your life.

Then came motherhood. During my first pregnancy, I realized how much misinformation is out there about what you can and can’t do, so I didn't move much. After birth, it took me years to feel strong and in control of my body again, and I wished I had better guidance. That experience led me to specialize in Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga, completing my RPYT certification, so I could support other moms through pregnancy and beyond with safe, empowering practices.

Today, I share yoga in a way that combines my love for dynamic Vinyasa flows and my passion for helping moms feel strong, supported, and confident at every stage. My mission is to guide you through intentional practices that nurture both body and mind—whether you’re seeking stress relief, strength, or safe movement during pregnancy and postpartum.

    Exciting news!
